VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 21, 2006) - Silverstone Resources Corp. ("Silverstone") (TSX VENTURE:SST - News) is pleased to report additional high grade silver and gold intercepts at its Copala Silver-Gold project located 60 km ENE of the city of Mazatlan, Sinaloa State, Mexico. These drill intercepts are from the Phase IA (20 hole) drill program of up to 2,500 m which is currently underway and which will bring the total drilling at Copala by Silverstone to about 4,500 m in 38 holes. A summary of the Phase IA drill program is presented in the following table.
Highlights

- CC-06-26 - 6.2 meters grading 7.2 g/t gold and 1,677.0 g/t silver

- CC-06-27 - 3.6 meters grading 5.8 g/t gold and 1,227.0 g/t silver

- (i) True widths are estimated by correcting for the strike and dip
of the vein and the bearing and inclination of the drill hole.
- Drill holes CC-06-24 contained anomalous values only.
- Drill hole location maps are found on Silverstone's web site at
www.silverstonecorp.com.
The results to date at El Muerto indicate that this mineralized chute has a strike length of at least 100 m and a dip extent of at least 100 m. The mineralization is open along strike and down dip. This chute occurs beneath the historic El Muerto workings. The historic workings at La Pipa and Clemens, together with El Muerto, comprise a very prospective, 1 km long section of the Animas-Refugio vein where Silverstone expects to find additional strongly mineralized chutes.

At San Carlos, the mineralization rakes northward within the Animas-Refugio vein. The mineralized chute appears to have a strike length of 250 m and has been traced down dip for more than 100 m. Up to 5 additional holes are planned to explore the down dip extent of this mineralization.

The following table presents previous drill hole results issued by Capstone Mining Corp. These results have been released in Capstone's January 18, 2006 and October 20, 2005 news releases.

Samples were assayed by ALS Chemex in Vancouver. Duplicate pulp samples have also been assayed by Chemex and duplicate core samples have been sent to BSi Inspectorate in Reno Nevada. Due to some of the very high grade mineralization cut by the drill holes and the poor recovery in some holes, the duplicate samples have not always been within acceptable limits. Additional analyses of pulp and sample rejects are in progress.
