Politics killed it (Yucca Mt)

It was a good idea and a lot of money was spent developing it. A bunch of anti nuke lefties and stupid Indians were opposed. The late unlamented Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) killed it. Voters in Nye County, where Yucca Mt. is located, were its supporters for the jobs and economic boost it would have provided.
