Dino, thanks kindly, I think you're right about the source of that article. Keith Schaefer has caught my eye previously and I had meant to look at his service anyway, and I like what I see there. I'm strongly considering forking over the $400 he wants for a subscription, has anyone else been getting his stuff and if so what do you think?

TripleD looks like an interesting twist, just get the water to freeze downhole and let the ice just do its thing. That may provide for a more effective frac but I believe the ice would subsequently melt back down to water and you thus still have the problem of having to flow the well for awhile to get those fluids out. The beauty of gelled LPG is that it just mixes with the gas and, after the frac, you just get a richer (i.e. more liquids-rich) flow for awhile. So as long as your battery or compression site can handle the hot propane, you don't even have to flare the well while its cleaning up after the frac, as you have to do when you use water.
