Stock Puppy,

This is a great news for Apple in overseas market. Umax's 1997
revenue could reach up to 558 millions U.S. dollars. The combination
of the entire Taiwan's clones, it could easily exceed 1 billion
U.S. dollars. If combining with Japan's 2.2-2.5 billions annual
revenue, the revenue could easily reach up to 3.5 billions in pacific
rims. Especially, China's market has big potential in the near future
since it has 1.2 billion people, with which they could easily grasp
1-2 billions of sale in a couple of years.

And, don't forget Euorpe's jump in last two quarters, which could
be another booming indication in the future.

Apple seems to gradually execute its three-year plans with very
aggressive hardware updates boosted by IBM/MOT/Apple. Next week's
MacWorld Tokyo fair will provide Mac lovers in Asia another reason
to believe Apple is on its way back, and it contributes its most
advanced technology to the world. Is not it exciting?
