Chris, You are right as far as you take it. Co-dependency is generational, and it exists in all kinds of situations, not just chemical addictions. A workacoholic, gambling, overeating or anything that interferes with a full, well rounded life can create co-dependency. Many of our well meaning church members feed the chain as they think they are doing what the Lord commanded by going to far in helping people that live in a lifestyle that is fostered by the disease of ignorance. Children don't have a chance if momma and papa ar co-dependent. Our goverment has created a monster by doling out money to otherwise healthy people on welfare. Now that they realize their mistake, it will take years to hopefully fix it. I have a full day but would be glad to continue later this evening if you want. James
