Doug - I respect your posts, and your right to post them, even if I don't agree with a majority of what you say. Your latest spar with ZO over broadband growth does not ring true with me. From my own view of the world I see us in the early stages of a major bandwidth explosion, with all companies, including NN benefiting. Your macro arguments as they relate to NN could be valid IF you included all the other players in this space. If a company is going to see margins squeezed because of these macro issues you describe I would much rather be holding NN than a CSCO or LU.

I congratulate you on your NN call. Given past history, however, it was not a very difficult call to make. I predict the stock will hit $30 someday in the future. Care to bet that it doesn't? You see what I mean -- history tends to repeat itself. And if history is to repeat itself we should see some nice upside on NN someday.

The question ZO raised is an interesting one, and leads me to ask what your personal motivations are. Why are you spending so much of your time on NN when there are clearly much better companies to target. If broadband really is falling under margin pressures there are at least a half dozen companies that you should be shorting in addition to NN. Some are pure plays as well.
