Klugman, like all the left, loves pumping money to the poor. Thinks if they spend it, the economy goes up. And it is good class warfare politics.

Bush wanted to make sure that the Congressional left and Presidental candidates did not have money available for the various welfare programs they wanted to fund, so he cut taxes.

As Brownfield said in the LA Times article I posted this morning, Bush now owns what happens to the economy, as much as any Prez can. TWT.
