Andrew, Would you mind commenting on the viability of implementing this technology? exchange2000.com Giving the article a cursory glance, it would appear on the surface at least, that this technology has major hurdles to overcome. The acceptance by the world's IC players alone I assume will take at least a decade. But in addition to that there are the technical questions which have not even been answered yet. My vision of the future is an IC with billions of circuits and is capable of handling hundreds of billions of orders a second. We are not that far away from that point. Much $$ has been spent to get us where we currently are. The chip biz consists of a bunch of baby steps. It's a tedious process with many hurdles already overcome. Should we veer off course and chance a new technology? I assume that any player adopting the new technology would have to hedge their bets in the beginning by implementing the new technology on a smaller scale before phasing out current manufacturing methods. This does not sound like a cheap proposition to me. TIA for any insight. Brian
