Based on the last report from French news, the pc sales in Japan in '98 will increase 7%. Besides, Japan's new fisical year starts from April 1, which will boost new buying from schools and government. I wouldn't worry about Japan's market this quarter since it should be a lot better than the previous one (the slowest quarter in Japan, January - March). As U.S. dollar is getting stronger, the U.S. bonds as well as stocks are more attractive to Japanese investors. Fidelity Japan received more than 40% of injected money from Japanese since January, '98. Phil
