Probably not. But for me almost every decision is a cost benefit analysis.

Time vs. savings vs. taxes vs. exhaustion...

I keep it in mind always a penny spent on personal stuff is costs two pennies earned. A penny spent on a deductible business expense costs half a penny, or less.

This is why contractors and real estate agents frequently buy nice vehicles. They can write them off. I don't hesitate much to spend money on my business, but I pinch pennies on personal stuff.

I just bought Logic Pro. Paid $235 for a boxed set. I could have gotten it a little cheaper but I decided the extra effort wouldn't have been worth it. This was $235 spent on my own stuff, no write off here, unless I start selling the music I'm going to make, which is within the realm of reality.

$500 retail boxed. $199 download but lacking some parts.
