I agree with Scott's scenario, that the pref's are probably selling some of their shares. However, they have to sell sooner or later. Selling some now, with high volume and not too far from the average August share price, makes future dilution from them less painful, especially if the stock price goes up. As for TCI or any other announcement, if this is what the pending news is doing for the volume and the price moves up, let the news wait a few more days.
