You're not going to educate anyone about Barrick by spouting drivel - a company doesn't hedge because it thinks the POG is going down - it hedges to fix the price of its product for a stated period - thus taking the price uncertainty out of the equation. Trizec and Barrick don't have the same directors - some sit on both boards. Every company has the option of taking itself private. d
