In Augost 2, 1492, two great dramas were simultneously unfodling
in Spain! In the port of Paols, three caravels under Colombus were making final preperation for theri historic journey of Discovery! Throughout Spain Jews were passing their last day on the Spanish soil, ending 1500 years " la convivencia" under Romans, Moors and Arabs!
This tragedy, only matched by the destruction of the Temple, and Babalonian exile, struck 500,000 Jews of Spain and Portugal!
Some Jews did convert (conversus) to save their homes. Those
who convereted, Marano Jews (Pig Jews) as the were called by their
catholic neighbours in Spain, remained to lives in shame, only to be suject to the court of Inquisition! Some of these Marranos continued to practiced Jewish holidays, confusing Pesach for Rosh Hashana, etc, etc!!
These Jews who abondoned thier God and refused to share the destiny of their people were also Christian Jews! The Safardim Jews don't claim
them, so goys may keep them, if the wish!
As for Christ and Jews, pls. don't make get mixed up! Either your
Jewish, or your a Christian!
