Velo,

OT

Wednesday there was a shooting scare at my daughter's HS. She was very upset. She was very afraid. I told her about my class year calling in bomb threats to the school and spending the day standing outside. After a couple of kids got caught the BS stopped.

In my senior year I had a garbage can blow up just after I walked past, no one was injured. Though I couldn't hear for about an hour afterwards, I was the main suspect. Which I thought was pretty stupid at the time.

The school officials have to take every threat seriously.

Some kids take it as a big game and don't seem to understand the ramifications. It does get attention, which I think is the goal.

In Anchorage a couple of kids took paintballs and shot people on the street and videoed it. This was a hate crime and now the kids are in deep Sh*t and are paying the price.

I agree, talk to your kids.
