Fully realizing that I'm the only person on this board that qualifies(by age) to get the AARP Bulletin I must say the current issue has some very revealing data as it relates to the drug industry and public opinion:
1) Two in three Americans now believe that drug prices are "unreasonably high."
2) 60% favor federal price controls as a solution.
3) Only 44% think drug companies serve consumers well, down from 79% seven years ago, the sharpest drop in esteem of ANY industry. (Thank goodness we have the tobacco industry to bring up the lowest rank, but isn't it ironic that we have the tobacco industry that kills and we now have the drug industry that is suppose to save lives and where they both rank now in public viewpoints.)

Could the now public remarks being made by Dr. Rost, vice president of marketing for PFE, be the first break of insiders
in the industry and could this lead to a barrage of such "confessions"?
