[Intermedia Wins Maryland Public Television Contract]
TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 29, 1998--Intermedia Communications Inc. (Nasdaq/:ICIX) has been chosen by the state of Maryland to provide microwave transmission services to its five-station Maryland Public Television Network. The two-year contract is valued at more than $600,000.
Under the terms of the contract, Intermedia will furnish audio and video channels via microwave transmission, connecting the stations and enabling Maryland Public Television to broadcast from each of the stations simultaneously.
