I am sorry to say that I have not have such luck as yours. I have
bad experience with them on several occasions. I am only sharing
it with all of you. I wish I could say something good about them
for handling the trading. Unfortunately, I cannot come up with
any. This started January last year when I bought option and want
to sell it. They cannot give me a quote when I called them up because
the computer was down. Eventually, the option went from 1 3/4 to
almost nothing in that day. Yes, they told me this does not happen
daily. After that, I had several tradings cannot get any timely response when they moved to online trading. On one occasion, my
order did not even placed after I checked with them by phone.

I do agree you probably can buy/hold with them. For online trading,
I believe they just don't have anything you should trust at this
moment. They have promised to upgrade the system for a few months
but no date have been given. Recently, they did for one day and for
whatever reason they have to roll it back. I hope they are sincere
about serving the customers. If they want to get new customers from
their massive ad campaign, they better have the system ready to
serve them. Otherwise, they will only upset all the customers, new
or old. Eventually, NONE.

BTW, I placed an order again. This time, I placed the same order
with another broker too. The status changed immediately
with another broker but I see my order with Ameritrade
go nowhere until a few hours after market close. Luckily,
the price did not drop significantly for the stock I purchased.
Did anybody experience the same thing today with online trading?
I have talked to them several times but they don't seem to
care what happened.
