Even if pay stubs are released, unless a signature was required when picking up the pay check, would that prove attendance? In light of the fact that he was not ever charged with being awol, then he must have been kept on the rolls, so perhaps he kept receiving his pay? Why aren't all of the servicemen in the reserves that served with him stepping forward and verifying that they served with him? I'm sure many of his fellow pilots and flight crew, as well as mechanics would remember serving with him.
