Our monopoly stock Ticketmaster (TMCS) continues to make acquisitions. March 28, 2002. Ticketmaster to acquire dating firm Ticketmaster said it has agreed to acquire Australia's Soulmates Technology, an online personals group, for about $23 million, mostly in stock. Soulmates Technology provides online dating services to more than 2 million registered users. In 2001, Soulmates Technology had revenue of about $1.5 million.
