Can you imagine a no-knock, SWAT Team entry into your
house by a 10-12 man, black suited, paramilitary team
with guns drawn who "forcibly and violently" grab
your wife and your children, and herd them into one room, as
others ransack your home?
Not because of a felony warrant, not because of any violent
crime, not because of anything to do with guns, drugs, or
the potential of violence...
But because you're selling organic beef that hasn't been pumped
full of growth hormone, or free range chicken eggs that aren't
full of antibiotics, or vegetables that haven't been irradiated,
or genetically mutated and poisoned by Monsanto.
The door kicked in, and 12 paramilitary goons storming in
with automatic weapons drawn, and violently manhandling your
wife and kids... over a grey area in the "local" law concerning
health permits and food retailing!?!?
What the hell has happened to America's law enforcement community?
Are these souless, mindless robots, or our fellow citizens
who we pay with our taxes to serve and protect us?
Folks, sadly this isn't an anomaly.
The Federal Government has unleashed two monsters...
FEMA and Homeland Security.
And this has become a nation of "us vs. them."
"Us" being the citizenry, and "them" being the government.
I don't know about you, but I see it in the TSA security
people at the airports, and even in local law enforcement.
Somehow this government, post 911, has managed to create an
environment where "we the people" are now the enemy?
It's palpable. You can see it, you can feel it, and you can
taste it. And I don't know about you, but it scares the hell
out of me.
...WHY?
Why does our government suddenly fear us?
Why do they think we are about to riot in the streets,
to where they are going to have to use FEMA camps, and
our own military forces to stop civil unrest?
FEMA is pumping in a ton of money into state and local police
departments via training and equipment. And with that money
comes both control and influence.
I have 3 generations of law enforcement members in my
family and I have received first hand info on two very
disturbing trends.
1. The Government through FEMA & Homeland Security propagating
an "us vs. them" (police vs. the public) mindset to state and
local law enforcement.
2. An influx of ... "Tackleberry's & Rambo's" from the military
into law enforcement (especially SWAT teams) who still possess
a "War" versus community service mindset in their daily
approach to police work. And for them, every day is a "war"
and it's an absolute "us vs. them" mindset.
This has been going on for years, and it's accelerating at
an alarming pace.

in place, but is actively accelerating training to quell
domestic protests and urban unrest.

deployment of the battle-hardened 3rd Infantry Division’s
1st Brigade Combat Team under NorthCom control for “domestic
operations” following the passage of the "Defense Authorization
Act of 2006" and the "John Warner National Defense Authorization
Act for Fiscal Year 2007."
Section 1076 of the Warner bill changed the name of the key provision in the statute book from “Insurrection Act” to “Enforcement of the Laws to Restore Public Order Act.”

ie: Since 9/11, and seemingly without the notice of most
Americans, the federal government has assumed the authority to
institute martial law, arrest a wide swath of dissidents
(citizen and non-citizen alike), and detain people without legal
or constitutional recourse in the event of "an emergency influx
of immigrants in the U.S., or to support the rapid development
of new programs."
Beginning in 1999, the government has entered into a series of
single-bid contracts with Halliburton subsidiary Kellogg, Brown
and Root (KBR) to build detention camps at undisclosed
locations within the United States. The government has also
contracted with several companies to build thousands of
railcars, some reportedly equipped with shackles, ostensibly to
transport detainees.
Sect. 1042 of the 2007 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), "Use of the Armed Forces in Major Public Emergencies," gives the executive the power to invoke martial law. For the first time in more than a century, the president is now authorized to use the military in response to "a natural disaster, a disease outbreak, a terrorist attack or any other condition in which the President determines that domestic violence has occurred to the extent that state officials cannot maintain public order."
The Military Commissions Act of 2006, rammed through Congress just before the 2006 midterm elections, allows for the indefinite imprisonment of anyone who donates money to a charity that turns up on a list of "terrorist" organizations, or who speaks out against the government's policies. The law calls for secret trials for citizens and noncitizens alike.
Also in 2007, the White House quietly issued National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51), to ensure "continuity of government" in the event of what the document vaguely calls a "catastrophic emergency." Should the president determine that such an emergency has occurred, he and he alone is empowered to do whatever he deems necessary to ensure "continuity of government." This could include everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution to launching a nuclear attack. Congress has yet to hold a single hearing on NSPD-51.
U.S. Rep. Jane Harman, D-Venice (Los Angeles County) has come up with a new way to expand the domestic "war on terror." Her Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 (HR1955), which passed the House by the lopsided vote of 404-6, would set up a commission to "examine and report upon the facts and causes" of so-called violent radicalism and extremist ideology, then make legislative recommendations on combating it.

And what would/could cause urban unrest and domestic protests
in the US to the degree that Marital Law would be instituted
and the military unleashed against it's own citizenry?
...how about a default by a State like California, or Michigan,
or New York (that are all on the brink of bankruptcy), and
either a stoppage, or delay in payments to state and government
employees, and public assistance recipients from welfare, to
unemployment?
...or, worst yet - the bankruptcy of government employee
pension plans to where teachers, firemen, police officers,
and city & state workers are left with -- nothing, just
like the employee's of Lehman Brothers, and Enron.
...how about the national "bank holiday" that Paulson warned
congress over... where banks shut down nationwide for a week
on no notice, and ATM's run dry in 24 hours?
...how about the government deciding to round up guns prior
to any of the above, or below...
...or, how about another scenario that government has openly
talked about, and has written plans for, but is still dismissed
as conspiracy theory - a bank holiday, including the confiscation
of gold, and either a US Dollar "devaluation", or the move to
the AMERO?
A year and a half ago, few would have believed that housing
would collapse by 30-50%, that the stock market would be cut
in half, that the deficit would double, that the US Treasury
Secretary would call a "secret" meeting behind closed doors
and threaten the US Congress with Martial Law if they didn't
hand him an $800 Billion Dollar blank check, and that the
Wall Street Investment Banks would all be bankrupt, with
Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers going under, with Merrill
forced to sell, and with JP Morgan and Goldman Sach's saved
by government bailouts and by converting to banks...and that
the Big Three Auto Makers would also all be bankrupt and
require a government bailout?
Anyone who would have predicted that 18-24 months ago would
have been laughed at.
Well, no one is laughing now, as the un-thinkable is not
just thinkable, but reality.
In the opinion of many, we are now at a tipping point in
American history.
Either these bailouts and stimulus packages work, and we dig
ourselves out of a long and deep recession; or the next wave
of the "unthinkable" (Martial Law, Bank Holidays, Dollar de-
valuation, the North American Union/Amero) becomes reality.
And in the opinion of many, it's not by accident where we
now find ourselves, and it won't be by accident at where
we ultimately arrive.
Many will continue to dismiss everything that may unfold
as conspiracy theory, until it actually arrives.
For them, I pose this question:
Is it better to be to have prepared too much - too early,
or to find out that you've done too little -- too late?
