I quote the Bible and you are offended? I thought you were against religious intolerance and violence. You quoted(in another post)this section of an article: "People have the right to believe in a racist God, or a God who throws millions of nonevangelicals into hell. I don't think we should ban books that say that. But we should be embarrassed when our best-selling books gleefully celebrate religious intolerance and violence against infidels. That's not what America stands for, and I doubt that it's what God stands for." The Bible is a best seller. The Bible stands for religious intolerance and violence. So I suppose you are embarrassed by the Bible. The Swedes are simply saying that there are limits to religious freedom and freedom of speech. For example: it is not permitted to have more than one wife or husband. Some religions accept polygamy others polyandry. These religions are restricted by law in many western countries. One can be prosecuted and convicted(put into jail) for practicing polygamy. So why not for insulting a group of people?
