Nice catch! Having invested in CIEN to help meet its fiber capacity needs (much as CSCO
invested in Juniper for switching), I cannot imagine T entirely ignoring the results of its
funding. Beyond that, this certainly shows that there is indeed a relationship between
T/CIEN, and that T is not simply just another customer.

I thought this would confirm that T has a vested interest in CIEN as well as an "attachment" to LU. It seems as though some feel there is only room for one player in this area. I feel differently but have not done enough research to make "positive" statements to this affect.
