Fred, Cyrix' MediaGX is half the speed of a vanilla notebook with a 133 Mhz Pentium and it does not support MMX. They do not have any fabrication facilities and the dealyed M2 runs at 166 Mhz. The fact that Compaq tossed them into the low-end of the low-end box offerings is meaningless. They probably got the devices for a song and Cyrix has been gloating ever since.
