George, while you might be right in your assessment of the long term impact of bombing of Iraq, we may want to remember that Saddam has killed more Moslems (Iranian and Kurds) with gas attacks than we will ever kill with targeted bombing of selected military targets (and "palaces"). The question is, however, what do you do? Do you let him develop atomic, chemical and biological weapons? How do you stop him, and if you stop him, how do you stop Pakistan and India and all the others that are trying to get into that club? You bomb these facilities in every small nations that feels threatened by others, or you do it when in your wisdom, the leaders has become "emotionally unstable"? Zeev
