So the funny money folks can keep trying to jam the POG back under $300, but it doesn't have the effect they want. There are just too many people who want some insurance against monetary collapse, and more are gathering every day. It reminds me of the scene in the movie "Witness," where the bad guy, with a gun, is surrounded by hundreds of unarmed people of all ages. Harrison Ford says "What are you going to do, shoot all of them?"

i remember when the big cap stocks were doing well and people questioned the rise, the multiples, etc...laszlo b said : well, people want these big cap stocks, you go tell them not to buy...

i think you will and are seeing this in gold...maybe it is a barbaric relic with no value, but people are gonna continue to pour in...this public is slow to catch on but starting to puke at the fundamental realities of this market...and even if they don't "get it", they certainly "get" the declining balances on their statements, and i'm sure more than a few have finally "gotten it" that their fund companies actually deduct management fees for this lousy "performance"...
