OOPS! This turned out to be a bit of a rant. It made sense
to me when I wrote it. It probably is just one of my brain
farts.
:-o

"I just don't know how to explain it otherwise."

Well, I do think it's possible Kerry might have PTSD. That
would explain a lot. The thing is, he is like a lot of
liberals - sadly, a significant minority IMO. Revisionist
history is second nature to so many of them, just like
Kerry. The politics of personal destruction is a Kerry
strong suit as it is for many of his peers. Kerry's use of
gross distortion & outright lies to attack the Bush Admin
is symptomatic of many liberals. He & his peers have no
problems lying for political gain, regardless of any real
harm it will cause. Kerry does a lot of things common to
many of his liberal peers.

IMO, something is seriously wrong with all of these folks.
These are qualities that disgust me personally, regardless
of who does it. However, all these folks don't have PTSD.
IMO, many of them have what I consider to be unacceptable
moral & ethical behavior. It does explain a lot about
their behavior though - perhaps Kerry's behavior too.

Now Kerry does flip flop more than most of his peers
though. Kerry's attempts to explain away his many flip
flops (and other serious contradictions), while seeming to
firmly believe what he is saying, regardless of how
incredible or discredited his explanations may be, does
rasie serious questions. And Kerry did see some serious
close in battle in his short time on those swift boats
that many of his peers have never seen.

I used to be part of the conspiracy theory crowd RE:
Kennedy's assassination. I followed a few for many years
until they were credibly debunked one by one. I allowed my
personal bias to affect my judgement for well more than a
decade. When I did see the light, I realized how easy it
is for anyone to buy into a well crafted conspiracy
theory. Bias clouds judgement more than most folks will
ever admit.

Now I'm cautious about jumping to conclusions on matters
where bias can play a significant role. Religion &
politics are two areas where bias tends to be more
extreme. I know I'm biased against Kerry now that I've
formed my opinion about many of his attributes.

However, I'm still reluctant to conclude that Kerry has
PTSD at this time. Like you, I do have my suspicions. The
evidence seems to point to PTSD as a plausible theory.
Perhaps he is simply more extreme than is peers. I just
don't know for sure.

"TWT if my suspicions are valid."

Kerry will get a bit of a break now that he has no one to
challenge him for the nomination. He will have to hustle
to raise money, but his load has been lessened. Perhaps he
will have to endure some real media scrutiny along the
way. Right now they seem to want to give him a pass. TWT.

I hope that he doesn't have PTSD. I don't wish suffering
on anyone. However, if he does have it, I hope we learn
about it conclusively before the election.
