i seldom use cash for anything. always use my credit card , always use direct charges to credit card for telephone bills, prescriptions, doctor, propane heating, groceries, cable, tv, home phone, cell phone, trash pick up. etc. then have credit card draft bank once a month. hardly ever write checks. electric drafts bank, they wanted to charge a nominal fee to charge credit card which defeats purpose of charging everything to credit card. I then take a credit twice a year and apply against any balance on credit card. it usually ends up being about $400. better i get the $400 vs paying cash or check. g
