Company officers usually hold a vast stake in company stock. With their resignations could follow a large selloff of their positions. Does anyone know the regulations guiding this? I think that they would be considered privlaged for 90 days and if they sell before that time period it could be considered insider trading. But does that only apply to actively employed officers? If they are now excluded then they may only be bound to the 3 day news release rule.

Any comments would be appreciated. I currently have no position on Cendant but think this may be a great opportunity to get in once the smoke clears.
