I see what you are saying now. I haven't read the studies in question, I thought you were dismission them out of hand because they disagreed with your beliefs. Clearly that's not the case.

However, given that studies vary in their results, scientists doing legitimate work will come to different conclusions. We must be careful to distinguish between isolated studies and a "preponderance of evidence" that creates a scientific conclusion. That there is not a preponderance of evidence to support damage from second hand smoke, I am prepared to take on your word.

The public seems to have a lot of trouble making this distinction.
