Hahahahahahaha!!!
Yet another sure sign of a you-know-what!!!
It should be really interesting to watch them try to prove the allegations, especially when virtually identical allegations were just thrown out of court in California in a different case (for vagueness and failure to establish a direct relationship between stock price and/or financing with what the defendants are alleged to have written). Also, alleging jurisdiction might be a problem as well, with the caveat that I don't know any of the defendants and am presuming that these folks are just ordinary people that live in various parts of the country where none are specifically from the Reno, NV area, and none did their postings from the Reno, NV area.
I'm hoping at least one of them is from California, so that they can counterclaim SLAPP using California's more liberal SLAPP guidelines. However, absent that possibility, Nevada has its own recently enacted SLAPP guidelines, so there's always a possibility there.
I'll watch with interest, though I truly believe that this is yet just another legal action in a long string by OTCBB companies that either never makes it to trial, or is thrown out early in the proceedings. Mostly this stuff is done just to placate gullible long shareholders, with the hope that the skeptics will be silenced.
By the way, it's getting real close to May 1st isn't it? Seems to me that I recall that May 1st is a special day isn't it? (And I don't mean Mayday either!)
