The only market for the K6 is in low-cost desktops because there is no notebook version and they are not remotely compatible with the Pentium SMP server architectures. They will have the distinction of having the slowest machines available for Windows NT or floating point intensive applications of any variety. AMD spread all kinds of rumor and bogus information but when the rubber hits the road, the company collapses back in on itself, financial black hole that it is.
