Where I differ from your stated views is that I think WINTEL and Sun will both prosper. I don't believe that either will overwhelm the other in the next couple of years, but maybe some where way down the line. Sun has been showing incredibly solid and consistent growth over the past few years in the face of a media onslaught that had pounded the premise that Sun was doomed to failure due to NT/WINTEL. This is obviously not the case for at least a couple of years until NT2000, or whatever synonym they use in future, is released and gains enough acceptance to be the dominant choice.

Look at the Starfire growth, which I believe says it all!

IMO, you are still swimming up stream and fighting the trend using faulty assumptions.

best of luck with your exit point,
Michael
