I just got off the phone with Teledesic… they do not now have plans to offer service directly to individual homes. Their customers will be AT&T, MCIWorldcom, etc, and businesses. Small end users can indirectly use Teledesic through wired or wireless.

By the way, the timeline seems to be slipping… they said major cities should have early service by 2003 but service will not be widespread until 2005.
