Charts still very mixed. Most striking is the declining BOP power vs the positively trending MACD. Lots of stocks I looked at have pretty weak volume on the upside, and many also had declining volume today. I was shorting with very mixed results near the close. Lots of times when I start doing this it means a decline will follow the day, however this is probably about 60% accurate. There is something about this little rally that feels like bs and one sliver of bad news and down we go.

There are lots of great looking chart formations out there where if some of these techs can manage to get back to their downtrending lines there is a lot of upside, something I think will happen before the end of the year, but has yet to happen with conviction and technical confirmation I think is necassary, but this could be the start (as I write the last I cringe and think no more downside).

Playing it tight and all over place with quick trades, and looking for a mild sell off to try and get a little more aggressive on the short side.
