I saw a little thing on this new electric car company being run and financed out of silicon valley.

The cars I saw looked "cool" and were high performance.

The GMs and Fords seem to have been so buried in the bottom line for so long they've lost the desire or "financial flexibility" to innovate, so I wouldn't mind seeing some new blood come into the industry from inside the U.S. Hopefully, they'd be able to keep the manufacturing end here too as much as possible.
