He was asked that exact question (If there was anything we could have done to stop 9/11) and his response was "No." In the final analysis what happened - happened. We can't waste time looking back or we're going to end up missing whats coming next. Vote your gut in November but lets not waste time and resources looking back when what we really want is protection from similar events going forward.
