Tony, the Register article is about 90% accurate, but for a preview glimpse, that's good enough, I guess. Intel is doing 4-way and 8-way 870. There will probably be a 2-way version as well, but those plans are hazy. OEMs will use 870 chipset components to build 16-way systems and above. The Q4 2001 target is for a pilot release, not the actual release. Tenchusatsu
