The trailing is less than 20 and less that the S&P 500 as pointed out by John Kim as one of his reasons for being bullish on Intel. Is that a growth industry PE? Of course, we have to wait for the number to be released to get the trailing PE in stone but we all know it is less than 20 as a practical matter, and about 16 or so for 1997.
