Intentional or not - it hasn't been very effective and is generally not an appropriate way to conduct business. Management should come clean via a press release and state whether or not they intend to sell all or a part of the company.

On another topic, IR was very upbeat about business in general and I expect that revenues and earnings release will result in large upside surprises and give the stock some new momentum.
