Good point me lad,the best use of land is for growing grains and vegetables to eat..to eat... rather than running them through pigs and loosing 90% of their value and the incredible wasting and contamination of water as well.

One acre of land can produce 20,000 pounds of potatoes or one acre of land can produce 165 pounds of beef.
