I think it was yesterday on one of the daytime financial shows that and analyst (or was it a CEO of a Utility?) spoke in quite serious terms about the potential future of delivering data and internet services to residences. He wasn't specific, and of course, he may have been talking resale of ILEC facilities, or using some incremental optical ground strand technology, but it got me to thinking again about this...
