excerpted from Smart Business E-Letter, Mon, 25 Dec 2000 ....

PROBLEM: You want to use PowerQuest's PartitionMagic to create a custom partitioning scenario.

SOLUTION: PowerQuest's technical support staff has written a series of "partitioning scenario" FAQs. It's available for free at cgi.zdnet.com . (You'll need to have the Acrobat Reader installed on your system.) Currently, the scenarios range from "installing BeOS to an existing Windows 98 system" to "installing Windows NT on an NTFS partition larger than 4GB."

[note from mark: i was hoping that there would be a whole lot more scenarios then what one finds presented here. maybe these will be helpful to someone.]

:)
