The IRS code must be changed, but not one deduction at a time with no consideration given to the big picture.

If they come out with what we have heard so far, they can "file and forget" their report. I think that a flat tax is doable if the Republicans would get behind it. But they won't right now. If you read the Novak column I just posted you will see that the backlash on spending is building.
