Actually, I don't condone it, and I think if a man's wife can't trust him neither can I. But, unlike in the Clinton situation, it is a private matter, so far as I know it never interfered with his doing an excellent job of his public service, and he has not been accused of any crime such as lying about his affairs under oath -- none of which can be said about your guy.

Of course, it was obvious some liberal on this thread would bring it up; however, the fact remains that Newt does present a clear, concise, conservative perspective, so I think he is an excellent example well-defined conservative principles. The fact that he has given back some of the moral high ground does not diminish it.
