freeus,

<<I am not the CEO and not privy to the information he is, but it seems like such a terrible move to me. Do you see it differently? Is it a time of wait and see the promise blossom?>>

Personally, I am taking a wait and see approach. One of the main reasons I initially invested in USRX was because of their strong management. Cowell and et. al. built a state of the art leading edge multi-billion dollar technology company from scratch. Surely, they have not gone into this deal on a whim or without thinking it through thoroughly. I have to trust that Cowell knows what he is doing and believe that the RoboCom company will be a more formidable force looking forward than USRX would have been on its own. That maybe hard for some to accept but Cowell isn't an idiot and I trust his judgement more than anyone on these threads and certainly more than the WS analysts who have shown time and time again that they do not understand the tech sector or technology in general. Some analysts still can't differentiate between MU and INTC (although many have finally seen the light after years of grouping all semi's together). It is simply ridiculous to judge the value of this merger based on how WS has reacted in the short run. WS knows nothing about running a competitive networking company, Cowell does. Just because WS has acted emotionally out of ignorance does not necessarily mean the deal will not prove to be a winner. We are talking about two sold companies joining together to make an even more competitive and potential formidable force. Too many people are jumping to too many conclusions based purely on emotions. Without knowing what's going on inside these companies, it is very hard to accurately judge the value of such a deal. People need to ask themselves, do they really people they know more than these two proven CEO's? Are these leaders complete idiots?? Are they intentially doing something that will weaken both companies?? I think it makes much more sense that these guys both believe this deal is in the best long term interest of both companies and their shareholders. This is the only reason for pursuing such as deal as far as I can see.
