This is the O'Conner seat. The one that has been providing the liberal majority ever since Reagan put O'Conner in office. It was going to be the watershed appointment that would turn the court 5/4 to the conservative side. Now it is going to a women who looks like another "O'Conner," and is not worthy of the job.

We are just at the start of the explosion on this appointment.
