Anybody buying tangible assets here (other the bullion) - ie land?

Question to the board - Anybody else buying raw law here? Not so much as an income producing asset, but a tangible asset to hold and/or pass down generations?

Recently purchased 100+ ac of farm land with cheap money. Will gladly pay off the loan with cheaper US dollars.

My goal was to find land that had an existing house and use the desire of the mortgage lenders to close - over value the house to allow for a "home loan" vs a raw land loan.

Could have bought the property outright, but why not use cheap money, the "desire" of the mortgage lenders, and pay it off with clown bucks.

Took me a year to find the right property - will admit the house is a joke, but at the end of the day I will still own 100 ac of the other black gold - dirt.

Anybody else doing similar?
