"When I see him now, President of the United States, meeting world leaders, I can't believe it . . . I still have this picture of him wearing my black nightgown, playing the sax badly; this guy, tiptoeing across the park and getting caught on the fence. How do you expect me to take him seriously?"

I never have for a moment questioned that the man fooled around and once again, I have to say that his foolin' is something between him and his wife. However, its one thing to be an adulterer and its another to be rapist. I am more inclined to believe Clinton was the former and that the above paragraph describes best who he is.

Rape is an act of violence and is not about sex but about power. Clinton has a lot of personal power plus he was governor of a state and president of one of the world's major powers. Rapist tend to have trouble forming relationships whereas Clinton clearly had no trouble on that score. Rapists tend to hate women; Clinton, in fact,
seems to like them too much.

You laughed when I said Clinton causes women to lose it when he is around. Recently, he was out here for a benefit for one of WA's senators. A woman columnist covered the event and described what happened. This woman is a no nonsense type more like Molly Brown than Molly Ivins. She described how she did not want to like Clinton because he fooled around so much [not that he was a rapist]. Instead like many of the other woman she went ga ga when she met him. Now she said all of it in a joking fashion in her article, making fun of herself. But trust me, if she had thought that Clinton was rapist, she never would have taken the tack she did. It was in a recent issue of the Seattle Times....I'll post it.
