Correction to ptnewell's post...

The first paragraph of ptnewell's post was omitted in error. The firt paragraph is as follows...

"Last Thursday, the managers of the Philadelphia semiconductor index decided to
remove Rambus. On Friday the stock traded up in a down market.
The reason, of course was that the industry's leading PC Hardware site ran a highly
pro-Rambus (and even more pointedly anti-DDR) article [1].
Since I believe the second event far more significant than the first, I will here discuss
Tom's conversion."
