"More stable employment"? Now let's see, did we just watch companies announce 80,000 to 100,ooo job lay-offs over this last 10 days in the U.S. or not? Consumer confidence rising? They must have access to more definitive numbers than are available to mere mortals. (g)

Anyway, this pronouncement is about as good as it gets for a contrarian "sell" signal
